Fire Dragon Linux is a Linux-based operating system designed to run on many different architectures with identical feel for the administrator and the users. By compiling the core operating system via a cross compiler, and providing the resulting cross compiler system to the end user, we can run on any supported platform, and write code for any other supported platform. The primary aims of this distribution are :
- Cross Compilers
- Identical functionality in all packages on all architectures (where possible)
- Small form factor
- Scale from the embeded device, to desk tops, and to highly available servers
